Selamat Pagi, Cik(ngoo)...

Been missing from the blogsphere for a long time now "dust off"..."cough cough"...
Yup, been working as a cikgu for almost 2weeks now. Went back to my high school, teaching Bahasa Melayu and "ahem" Accounts!
Bahasa Melayu, no problem... but Accounts? What?
'I thought you did science all the way through Form6?'
'Ya, you remember alright!'
'Then how to teach?'
'No need to teach lah, the students teach me!'
'What? !@#$%^&**&^%$...'
"laugh laugh"

I 've got 28periods per week, 24of them Bahasa Melayu, and only 4periods of Accounts. The school was really desperate for Bahasa teacher so they 'compromised' on the 'I dont know accounts' part lah. Kesian the students lah. Hey, but that doesnt mean i dont have to do anything, okay? I did English and Bahasa with them lah. And if they 'behaved' themselves, i might just 'reward' them by telling them 'stories'. Hahah! What sort of stories you might ask... Stories from the land of the rising sun lah, that is... if not, i'll just pick up the newspapers and pick a few stories and 'chat' with the students lah. (what? you think i would sit there and read the paper just like those relief teachers did during our days? no way! i hate those kind of teachers and i'm not going to become one of them!)

Teaching Bahasa Melayu's fun as gun! Especially in a Chinese school like mine, where 90% of the students are 'hard-core' chinese (in layman's term: ah lian, ah beng, ah huat, ah mei etc.) Oh ya, i'm teaching two form3 classes, 1 form4 class, and another two form5 classes, both arts & science classes lah.

For those who's a believer of 'those who cant do teach', wait till you teach! I challenge everyone of you who thinks that teaching's easy, GO TEACH! I salute all those teachers out there, those who had devoted their whole lives inspiring students and making a difference in people's life. That is why i cannot become one myself. And for some reasons (like the tonnes of paperwork and non-teaching-related extra work load), i thank god i'll be leaving in 2months time. Leaving, but with a heavy heart, and hoping that all the students will one day all grow up and become good sons and daughters, good husbands and good wives, good employers and good emplyoees, and good citizens of malaysia.

more of my 'stories', and 'blunders' from school coming soon... (gotta go mark my karangan, habis? you think all cikgu senang aje ah?)

Kelas bangun!
Terima Kasih, Cikgu!
